Gear press adopts eccentric gear instead of crankshaft for press transmission system. This design provides bigger stroke length and energy for thicker sheet metal stamping, drawing, punching and forging. Normally, crank press stroke length is no more than 300mm, while eccentric gear press can have bigger stroke length such as 500mm and 600mm.

Gear press can withstand high concentrated heavy loads. Gear press is more suitable for thicker sheet metal stamping and extruding process. Gear press machine is applicable for rice cooker inside casing, pot, cup and car rim production. Gear press machine is also suitable for hot forging or cold forging. Two points and four points gear presses are widely used for car body parts stamping. For example, one unit 1200ton with three units 800ton gear presses can act as an automatic stamping line for car doors or fences production.
