How to do lubrication of world press?
This article is to introduce the types of lubrication oils for world brand mechanical press.
To ensure the normal operation of the press and prolong the life of the machine parts, the lubricating surfaces of the press should be lubricated at regular intervals. When carrying out oil supply operations, it is necessary to comply with the provisions of 1.3.4 Strict Observation Items During Maintenance in 1. Safe Operation.
Note:
1) The specified oil must be used, and it is strictly forbidden to use different types of oil mixed with old and new. Otherwise, functions such as lubrication will be lost, and sliding parts will be damaged.
2) All kinds of oils should be used with caution, and protective equipment such as protective glasses and gloves should be used. Especially the oil is often in a high temperature state after press is used. If you are not careful, it will cause a scald accident, and you must leave it for a while before you start working.
3) When metal flakes, metal powder and foreign matter are found in the replaced oil (waste oil), it may be that the internal parts are damaged. Please contact our maintenance department.
4) After the oil flows out, it should be wiped clean immediately. Once the oil enters the control equipment, it will cause malfunction due to poor insulation.
1.1 Centralized lubrication (see attached drawings 17, 18, 19)
This series of presses uses an electric grease pump to supply grease to each lubricating point, add grease for 2 minutes before starting the machine, and the subsequent grease supply is controlled by PLC, and the amount of grease at each point is delivered by a quantitative oil separator to ensure the amount of lubricating grease at each lubricating point.
1.2 Oil lubrication
Gears, pinions, worm gears, and worms are immersed in an oil pool for lubrication. The oil level gauge in them should be checked daily, and the oil inside the top gearbox should be changed regularly, usually once every six months.
1.3 Types of lubricating oil
Lubricate Points | Oil Type | Filling Method | Filling Time |
Top gearbox | Gear oil Shell Omala 320 L-CKC100 | Open the rubber plug on the gearbox cap, fill gear oil to the oil gauge measuring line on the right side of the press body | Check the oil level every week and change the oil every six months |
Ball head of the ball screw | Gear oil L-CKC 100, or hydraulic oil 32#/46# | Oil pool inside slider, add to oil level line | Daily inspection, change oil every six months |
Overload pump oil tank | Hydraulic oil 32#/46# | Fill oil through the mouth to the oil level line | Check and replenish, change oil once a year |
Front and rear bearings, connecting rod bushes, guide rails, etc. | Lithium 0# | Electric grease pump, fill grease to tank by grease gun | Automatic, controlled by PLC |
Balance cylinder | Gear oil L-CKC 100, or hydraulic oil 32#/46# | Manual oil pump | Press the handle 1-2 times a day, ensure enough oil in the manual pump oil cup |
Flywheel of dry clutch and brake | 3# lithium | Grease gun | Every six months |
Flywheel of clutch and brake (wet type) | Mobile ATF220 | Turn the flywheel oil filling port to the highest position, unscrew the oil plug and add to the oil gauge line | Check the oil level every day and change the oil every six months |
Chain for slide adjust motor | Gear oil L-CKC100 | Manual oil filling cup | Once a month |
Con rod | Gear oil L-CKC100 | Manual oil filling cup | Daily inspection, add oil each working shift |
