The working principle of the pneumatic punch: the design principle of the pneumatic punch is to convert the circular motion into a linear motion, the main motor is powered to drive the flywheel, and the clutch drives the gear, crankshaft (or eccentric gear), connecting rod and other work to achieve slippage. The linear motion of the block, the motion from the main motor to the connecting rod is a circular motion.

The pneumatic punch presses the material to be processed to make it plastically deformed to obtain the required shape and precision. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate with a set of molds (the upper mold and the lower mold), place the material in between, and apply pressure by the machine. , to deform it, and the reaction force formed by the force applied to the material during processing is absorbed by the mechanical body of the pneumatic punching machine, so that the pneumatic punching machine can act and process the parts.

Processing method of pneumatic punch

1. Single punching: punching is completed in a single time, including punching of straight line, arc, circle and grid holes.

2. Continuous blanking in the same direction: By using the method of stacking processing of rectangular mold parts, it is possible to process elongated holes, trimming, etc.

3. Multi-directional continuous blanking: the processing method of using small molds to process large holes.

4. Nibbling: The processing method of using a small round die to punch arcs one after another with a small step distance.

5. Single-shot forming: a processing method of shallow-stretching according to the shape of the mold.

6. Consecutive forming: forming a forming method that is larger than the mold standard, such as large standard shutters, rolling ribs, rolling steps and other processing methods.

7. Array forming: processing multiple pieces of the same or different workpieces on a large plate.

Pneumatic punch selection skills

1. There are many things processed by pneumatic punching machines, which can be divided into four categories: cutting, stretching, forming, embossing, etc., and can be subdivided into blanking, punching, blanking, shearing, stretching, bending, forming, pressing Printing etc.

2. The tonnage of the pneumatic punch is estimated by the total tonnage required to complete the processing of the mold. Therefore, the main factors affecting the tonnage of the pneumatic punch include the length of the part perimeter, the thickness of the material, and the strength of the material.

3. The stroke and table area are determined by the shape, size and depth of the stamped parts.

4. The daily output is mainly used to calculate the number of strokes per minute of the pneumatic punch and the number of pneumatic punches required. The choice of high-speed or low-speed pneumatic punches can meet the overall production requirements.

Therefore, the various characteristics are considered together, including the processing characteristics of parts, material characteristics, and tool characteristics. Generally speaking, for processes such as blanking and perforation, a short-stroke and high-speed pneumatic punch is required; for forming, stretching and other processes, a long-stroke and slower-speed pneumatic punch is required; when used for stamping, For processes such as embossing and embossing, a short-stroke pneumatic punch with high energy at the bottom dead center must be used.

Pneumatic punch operation safety regulations

1. The sockets of the fuselage and the electric control box cannot be connected to an excessive load, within 300W, otherwise the internal components of the machine tool will be damaged.

2. Before working, check whether the motion department of the pneumatic punch press is filled with lubricating oil, then start the pneumatic punch and check whether the clutch and brake are normal, and run the machine tool for 1-3 minutes.

3. When replacing the mold, first turn off the power supply, and then start to install and debug the mold after the moving part of the pneumatic punch is completed. When setting the mold, wait for the flywheel to stop completely before proceeding. When setting the die, it cannot exceed the die height range of the pneumatic punch (within the upper and lower limits), otherwise the pneumatic punch will be damaged; the die cannot be killed, and there must be a gap of 0.02~0.04mm. After the mold is set, shake the flywheel by hand to see if it can pass the mold (the mold should not be too tight)

4. After the installation and adjustment are completed, move the flywheel by hand to test the punch twice to ensure that it is correct before starting the pneumatic punch.

5. It is necessary to wait for other personnel to leave the working area of the pneumatic punching machine and remove the sundries on the working table before starting the power supply to start the pneumatic punching machine.

6. After the pneumatic punch is started, one person shall transport the material and operate the pneumatic punch. Others shall not press the electric switch or step on the foot switch board, nor can they put their hands in the working area of the pneumatic punch or touch the movement department of the pneumatic punch by hand.

7. When the pneumatic punch is working, it is forbidden to put your hand into the working area of the slider, and it is strictly forbidden to take and place the workpiece by hand. When picking and placing workpieces in the die, it is necessary to use objects of the same size. In the process of manual feeding, especially when the hand is inserted into the mold to assist feeding, be sure to press the emergency stop button to avoid serious consequences.

8. If it is found that the pneumatic punch has abnormal noise or mechanical failure, turn off the power switch immediately and check.

Pneumatic punch maintenance points

1. Always keep the central column and the guide column of the slider clean, and keep the bottom plate of the mold free of dirt when setting the mold to ensure the cleanliness of the platform and avoid scratches.

2. When the new machine is used for 1 month, add butter to the flywheel and feeder. If there is no refueling for a long time, the internal wear of the flywheel will be caused, which will affect the function of the machine tool.

3. The machine cycle oil (32# mechanical oil or Mobil 1405#) should be replaced once a month for the new machine, and every six months thereafter to ensure the normal operation and precision of the machine tool.
